What is a 500 TPH Stone Crusher Plant?

A 500 tph stone crusher plant is a stationary crushing and screening system designed to handle high-capacity rock processing. It is typically installed at a fixed location and used for mining, quarrying, construction, and recycling projects. This plant features a 3-stage crushing process with primary jaw crushers, secondary cone or impact crushers, and optional tertiary crushers (fine-type cone crushers or VSI sand-making machines), combined with vibrating screens, conveyors, and dust control systems.

How Does 500 tph Stone Crusher Plant Work?

Step 1: Raw Material Feeding.  Materials are dumped into the hopper via loader or forklift. Vibrating feeders evenly transport stone to PE1000×1200 or C140 jaw crushers for primary crushing.

 

Step 2: Coarse Material Transfer.  Crushed stones are sent to a transfer bin for buffering and temporary storage, ensuring smooth feeding for secondary crushing.

 

Step 3: Secondary Crushing. Material enters a hydraulic single cylinder CH cone crusher  or PFW impact crusher for secondary crushing.

 

Step 4: Tertiary Crushing.  Optional fine crushing via fine cone crushers or impact crushers or VSI sand making machine to achieve the desired stone size.

 

Step 5: Screening & Product Classification.  Vibrating screens separate the final products by size. Oversized or unqualified materials are returned to the crushing process for reprocessing.  Final products meet both domestic and international quality standards.
