1. Material Properties
   ● Hardness & Abrasiveness: Hard rocks like granite and basalt require heavy-duty jaw crushers with strong frames and wear-resistant manganese jaw plates, such as PE series; Softer materials like limestone and coal can use smaller PE/PEX models or mobile crushers for flexible operation.
   ● Feed Size & Moisture:The feed opening should be larger than the maximum rock size to avoid blockage; Wet or sticky materials require larger discharge openings and anti-blocking designs.

2. Production Requirements
   ● Capacity & Output Size: Select the crusher according to required capacity. For example, PE250×400 suits 5-20 t/h, while PE600×900 is suitable for 90-180 t/h; PE series is used for coarse crushing (10-350 mm); PEX series is for finer crushing (2-20 mm).
   ● Operating Time: For continuous production, choose crushers with reliable structure and easy maintenance.

3. Equipment Performance.
   ● Crusher Type & Installation: Simple pendulum jaw crushers provide higher crushing force for hard materials; Compound pendulum models offer higher efficiency for medium-hard materials; Mobile crushers fit flexible job sites, while stationary crushers suit fixed production lines.
   ● Motor Selection: Choose motor power based on material hardness, feed size, and capacity. Energy-efficient motors can reduce operating costs.
