1. Vibrating Feeder

This sturdy feeder is responsible for consistently transferring the raw sandstone from the hopper to the jaw crusher. Its key function is to regulate the feed rate, prevent clogging, and ensure the primary crusher operates at optimal capacity

2. Primary Crushing Machine: Jaw Crusher C106

The  jaw crusher C106 is engineered for hard and abrasive materials crushing process. Its deep crushing chamber and wear-resistant manganese steel jaw plates minimize wear from silica-rich sandstone, while the hydraulic adjustment system enables quick discharge gap modifications.

3. Secondary Crusher: Impact Crusher PFW1315

The PFW1315 is the key to shaping high-quality aggregates. Its three-stage crushing chamber and replaceable wear plates (chromium alloy) enhance durability, while the hydraulic opening mechanism simplifies maintenance—critical for remote sites. It processes 100-180tph of intermediate material, refining it to ≤31.5mm.

4. Screening Machine: 3YK2160 Vibrating Screen

This three deck circular vibrating screen ensures precise grading of finished products. 1. Why is a two-stage crushing process ideal for sandstone

Sandstone is not extremely hard but requires good shaping. The jaw crusher efficiently handles the primary size reduction at a low cost. The impact crusher then perfectly shapes the particles in the secondary stage. This combination offers an excellent balance of high output, good product shape, and operational economy.

2. What is the main difference between a jaw crusher and an impact crusher ?

A Jaw Crusher uses compressive force to break large rocks. Think of it like a giant nutcracker, squeezing the material between a fixed and a moving jaw. It's ideal for primary crushing. An Impact Crusher uses impact force. Material is fed into a fast-rotating rotor and thrown against impact plates, shattering it and creating a cubical shape. 3. How is the final product size controlled in this plant?​​

The final product sizes are precisely controlled by the 3YK2160 Vibrating Screen. The screen has multiple decks with different sized meshes that sort the crushed material. The settings on the crushers, particularly the discharge opening of the PFW1315 impact crusher, are adjusted to work in harmony with the screen to ensure the desired product gradation.
