About Efficient 100 tph Limestone Crusher Plant in the Philippines

This case study explores the installation and operation of a 100 tph limestone crushing plant in the Philippines. Designed to supply the growing construction sector with high-quality aggregates, this compact efficient plant features a optimized two-stage crushing process. The core configuration includes a ZSW8530 Vibrating Feeder, a PE500x750 Jaw Crusher, a PF1210 Impact Crusher, and a 3YK1860 Vibrating Screen, making it an ideal solution for medium-scale production.

The quarry site had limited space, requiring a compact and well-organized plant layout. The solution needed to be affordable in terms of both initial investment and long-term operation, without sacrificing output quality. The produced limestone aggregates had to meet strict gradation and shape requirements for use in high-spec concrete. Based these challenges, Baichy proposed this classic two-stage stone crushing plant solution.

The Two-stage Limetone Crushing Line Configuration & Equipment Introduction

The engineered solution is a classic and highly efficient two-stage crushing circuit, optimized for processing medium-hard limestone.

1. Vibrating Feeder

The process begins with the ZSW8530 vibrating feeder. This robust feeder is tasked with steadily and consistently transferring the raw limestone from the hopper to the jaw crusher.

2. Primary Crushing Machine: Jaw Crusher C106

The Jaw Crusher  PE500x750 serves as the primary crusher. Known for its robust structure and reliability, it features a 500x750mm feed opening, perfectly sized to reduce medium-sized limestone rocks into smaller pieces (approx. 100-150mm). Its simple design ensures easy maintenance and low operational costs, which is vital for cost-sensitive projects.

3. Secondary Crusher: Impact Crusher PFW1315

The pre-crushed material from the jaw crusher is then conveyed to the PF1210 Impact Crusher for secondary crushing. This stage is critical for shaping the final product. The impact crusher's high-speed rotor action breaks the limestone by impact, resulting in a well-graded, cubical final product that is highly valued for concrete production. The PF1210 is known for its high reduction ratio and excellent crushing efficiency.

4. Screening Machine: 3YK2160 Vibrating Screen

The crushed material is then sorted by the 3YK1860 triple-deck vibrating screen. This screen efficiently separates the aggregate into multiple specified sizes, such as 0-5mm (sand), 5-10mm, 10-20mm, and 20-40mm. Oversized material is recirculated back to the impact crusher for further crushing, creating a closed-circuit system that ensures all product meets specification and maximizes overall yield.

Key Advantages of Limestone Crushing Plant 100tph

1.Compact and Efficient Design: The well-matched equipment allows for a smaller footprint while reliably achieving the 100 tph production goal, making it perfect for medium-sized quarries.

2. Excellent Cost-Effectiveness: The combination of the reliable PE500x750 jaw crusher and the high-efficiency PF1210 impact crusher offers an optimal balance of performance and investment cost.

3. Superior Product Quality: The use of an impact crusher in the secondary stage ensures the final aggregates have a well-shaped, cubicle form, enhancing the strength of concrete.

4. Simple Operation and Maintenance: The line uses well-known, proven technology, making it easy to operate and maintain, which reduces downtime and long-term operating costs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Find answers to the most common questions about Baichy Machinery. If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, please contact us.

1. Why is an impact crusher often chosen for limestone?

Impact crushers are excellent for medium-hard to soft materials like limestone because they are highly efficient at producing a well-shaped, cubical product. They also offer high reduction ratios and are generally easier and more cost-effective to maintain compared to cone crushers for this specific application.

2. How to determine the right crusher plant?

Key factors include: 1. Material Hardness & Abrasiveness: (e.g., Limestone is softer than granite). 2. Desired Output Size & Shape: (Cubical shape requires an impact crusher). 3. Required Production Capacity: (e.g., 100TPH). 4. Site Conditions & Budget: (Space, power availability, and investment cost). It's best to consult with a crushing solution provider who can analyze your specific requirements.

3. How to adjust the finished product size for different applications?

The discharge size is adjustable through two key steps: 1. Modify the PE500X750 jaw crusher’s discharge gap (10-80mm) to control primary crushing output;2. Adjust the PF1210’s impact plate clearance (5-30mm) for fine crushing. The 3YK1860’s replaceable screen meshes further refine specifications to match construction or mining lime production requirements.

4. What maintenance is required for long-term stable operation?

Routine maintenance includes:1. Daily lubrication of rotating components with water-resistant grease; 2. Weekly inspection of jaw plates, impact hammers, and screen meshes for wear; 3. Monthly cleaning of dust collection systems to maintain compliance. Local technical support is available for troubleshooting, and spare parts are stocked in Manila and Cebu.
