3 Stage Mobile Stone Crusher For Granite Crushing Process 200tph

Project Overview:

This case study highlights the deployment of a sophisticated 200-ton-per-hour mobile crushing plant in Russia. The objective was to process hard, abrasive granite into high-quality sand and aggregates for demanding construction projects, including high-grade concrete and infrastructure development. The plant was designed to produce five distinct, precisely shaped final products to meet rigorous market specifications.

The Challenge:

Processing granite, one of the hardest and most abrasive rocks, requires a robust and multi-stage crushing solution. The client needed a plant capable of not only handling the material's hardness but also producing a wide range of certified, high-value products, including manufactured sand. The extreme climate and the need for operational flexibility at a remote quarry site made a mobile configuration the only viable option.

The Solution: A Three-Stage Mobile Crushing & Screening Plant

A combination of mobile jaw, cone, and impact crushers was selected. This advanced configuration leverages the strengths of each crusher type: the mobile jaw crusher for primary reduction, the multi-cyclinder hydraulic cone crusher for secondary crushing, and the PF impact crusher for fine crushing and well-shaped aggregates superior sand manufacturing.

1. Primary Crushing Stage: Mobile Jaw Crusher (PE750X1060)

● Equipment: Mobile Jaw Crusher plant equipped with a PE750 x 1060 jaw crusher.
● Function: This unit serves as the primary crusher. Large blocks of limestone (up to 630mm) are fed into the vibrating feeder. The powerful jaw crusher reduces the material to a medium size of approximately 150-200mm.
● Advantages: The PE750X1060 is renowned for its robust structure, high crushing ratio, and stable performance, making it ideal for the tough primary crushing stage of limestone.

2. Secondary Crushing Stage: Mobile Cone Crusher (HPC300)

● ● Equipment: Mobile Cone Crusher plant with an HPC300 multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher.
Function: The pre-crushed material from the jaw crusher is conveyed to the HPC300 cone crusher for secondary reduction. This stage produces clean, well-shaped, mid-size aggregates (e.g., 20-31.5mm, 10-20mm). The hydraulic adjustment system allows for precise control over product size.
● Advantages: The HPC300 is ideal for processing hard materials like granite. It delivers excellent particle shape, high productivity, and low wear costs, which is critical for abrasive granite.

3. Tertiary Crushing & Sand Manufacturing: Mobile Impact Crusher (PFW1315)

● Equipment: Mobile Impact Crusher plant equipped with a PF1315 impact crusher.
● Function: This is the key unit for manufacturing high-quality sand and fine aggregates. Material from the cone crusher is further crushed by the PF1315. The high rotational speed of the rotor impacts the stones, creating a cubical and well-graded final product ideal for sand (0-5mm) and small chips (5-10mm).
● Advantages: The PF1315 impact crusher is renowned for its high crushing ratio and ability to produce excellently shaped end products. It is the perfect tool for sand making in granite applications.

4. Screening & Final Products:

● Integrated mobile vibrating screens sort the crushed material into the five required product sizes. The closed-circuit design ensures that any oversized material is recirculated back to the appropriate crusher for re-processing, guaranteeing efficiency and consistent product gradation.

Key Benefits & Results:

1. Superior Product Quality: The three-stage process (Jaw + Cone + Impact) is optimal for granite, producing cubical, high-quality aggregates and sand that meet the strictest industry standards.

2. Maximum Flexibility: The ability to produce five different products allows the client to adapt to market demands and maximize profitability.

3. Optimized for Hard Rock: The combination of a cone crusher (for abrasive crushing) and an impact crusher (for shape) is perfectly suited to the challenges of processing granite.

4. Full Mobility & Quick Setup: The plant's mobility allows it to follow the quarry face, minimizing truck haulage and reducing operational costs significantly.

5. High Efficiency & Reliability: Despite the material's hardness, the plant reliably achieves the 200tph capacity with minimal downtime, thanks to the robust design of all components.rs are designed for heavy-duty, continuous operation, ensuring high availability and minimal maintenance interruptions.

1. Which is Best for Granite Crushing?

For primary crushing, a jaw crusher is the best choice for granite due to its ability to handle large, hard, and abrasive materials efficiently. For subsequent secondary and tertiary crushing stages, a cone crusher is more effective for achieving finer, higher-quality aggregate. A combination of a jaw crusher for the initial stage followed by a cone crusher is often the most effective setup.

2. How to crush granite?

To crush granite, use mechanical crushers like jaw crushers for primary breaking or impact crushers for secondary crushing. For smaller pieces, a heavy-duty hammer can create fault lines to split the rock. The crushed material then needs a screener to sort it into various sizes for specific applications.

3. What are the three types of crushers?

There are many different variations of concrete crushers, but we'll talk about the three main types; jaw crushers, impact crushers and cone crushers.

4. How to choose the right mobile crusher?

Here are some key considerations: material characteristics. hardness and abrasiveness, different crushers are designed to handle varying levels of hardness and abrasiveness, capacity requirements, mobility and size, technology and features, operational costs, safety and environmental considerations, manufacturer support.
