Southeast Asia relies heavily on coal-fired power plants for energy, resulting in the massive generation of industrial waste, specifically Bottom Ash. While Fly Ash is easily collected and reused, Bottom Ash is coarser, heavier, and historically treated as landfill waste. The client saw an opportunity in the circular economy. They aimed to process this bottom ash into fine powder to serve as an active admixture for cement and concrete blocks. This reduces raw material costs and solves an environmental disposal issue. To achieve this, they required a grinding plant capable of processing large volumes of abrasive ash into a fine powder (100-325 mesh) to meet local construction standards.
Bottom ash contains silica and hard slag, which causes rapid wear and tear on grinding rollers and rings. Unlike limestone, bottom ash density varies, requiring a mill with high grinding pressure. The client required a high throughput to keep up with the daily output of the power plant, demanding a large-scale industrial solution.
4. Classification Unit: High-precision Analyzer/Classifier separates fine powder from coarse particles.
5. Collection Unit: Large Cyclone Powder Collector and Pulse Dust Collector (for finished product collection and air filtration).
6. Control Unit: PLC or Standard Electric Control Cabinet.

1. High Grinding Pressure & Output
It has a large-diameter grinding ring. Combined with the high-pressure spring system, the YGM190 increases the grinding force of the rollers by 800-1200kg compared to standard mills. This allows it to easily crush the hard slag found in bottom ash, achieving larger outputs.
2. Extended Service Life (Wear Resistance)
Addressing the abrasiveness challenge, the shovel blades and grinding rollers were upgraded to High-Manganese Steel. This significantly extended the replacement cycle of wear parts, reducing downtime and maintenance costs for the client.
3. Superior Fineness Control
The variable-frequency analyzer allows the client to adjust the product fineness between 80 and 400 mesh. This flexibility allows them to produce different grades of powder for different buyers (e.g., brick makers vs. cement plants).
4. Eco-Friendly Operation
The YGM190 raymond mill system is equipped with a high-efficiency pulse dust collector, ensuring that exhaust emissions meet local environmental standards, keeping the factory clean.
